South of Al Khali are the ruins of a arch structure, similar in size to the one in Deling City. There are no accompanying buildings or signs of settlement in the area, leading scholars at the University of Veronahill.
Commonly called the Arch Ruins (or the Sub-Khalian Construct), it has been attributed to a certain period of Centran Civilization due to the carved likenesses of Guardian Forces on the arch’s surface.
The area has been well explored, and the frescos have been photographed and documented, though very little of the structure’s purpose is understood. Was it a shrine or temple? Part of a larger structure that has mysteriously been removed over time?
Trivia:
- Natives to the region avoid the Arch Ruins for a variety of reasons. Local guides refuse to take tourists there, saying prolonged exposure to the ruins makes people sick.
- People have been known to go missing in the region, despite the area being mostly clear and flat.
