Train travel has always been popular, but since the S War it became one of the most reliable and consistent methods of travel. The railway connects the Galbadian and Esthari continents, but currently the Esthar side is closed off. It also connects the island of Balamb to the Galbadian continent, travelling underwater in a reinforced transparisteel tube.
