A (usually) hard-wired computer that is part of a network. Balamb Garden’s classrooms are full of such devices, though functions are limited and all can be overridden from the instructor’s desk, which in itself is a large computer terminal. Now that wireless devices are once again viable for use, they are seeing a resurgence, though very few of these devices are theorized to exist outside of Esthar.
