Hyne

Fabled creator deity of humankind. In legends, he forged the worlds of the material plane and governed from Earth. He made humans that eventually grew to numerous and violent to adequately rule. He, (though the deity technically has no attribute gender) and a trusted friend from the beyond hatched a plan to reduce the exorbitant number of humans. After an attempted cull, Hyne was overthrown by his own creations and the age of human beings began. However, as a last legacy, Hyne’s incomprehensible magic powers were gifted to loyal humans who became the first sorceresses. Other characters appear in the myth, like the wise sage Vascaroon and the Dark King Zelbaga, but they seem to be largely metaphorical.
