Guardian Forces

Colloquially abbreviated as GF. Beings of energy from another plane of existence. They can anchor themselves to the material plane for extended periods of time via the use of junctioning to a phylactery. Depending on how powerful the phylactery’s supply of aether, this junctioning can be done solely by the GF or can be assisted by another being of a comparable consciousness. Some of these beings deal with humans, though most groups of humans are weary of them or ban their use. When coupled with a human properly, they feed on the aether produced by humans from emotion and thought energy to imbue the host with superhuman power in return for nourishment. While effectively used by SeeD, GF usage can be dangerous and unreliable. If not careful, a cadet can destroy their minds by junctioning, so years of preparatory training is required before attempting to junction.
