The device allowing Balamb Garden to fly. It is the massive ornate ring that slowly orbits the central spire of the Balamb Garden superstructure. It projects a repulsor field straight downwards to bounce between it and the ground, but has to be close for it to work. This is why Garden has to “surf” in deep water. The ring’s elongated points project aerospacial correction waves that ensure Garden remains upright. The device is electromagnetic in nature, which can sometimes prevent Balamb Garden from traversing certain areas like the Centra Crater. The other two Gardens have this feature as well, though apparently none of them have attained flight capacity for unknown reasons.
