Perennahill

Geography: Perennahill is located southwest of Deling City, situated near the edges of the Great Plains of Galbadia and close to forests.

Culture: Perennahill is a working town, where many from Galbadia go to perform trades during the working seasons due to the abundance of natural resources near the town. Due to the increasing desire to formally include the tradeswork of Perennahill in the educational programs of the University of Veronahill, there are talks to build a large bridge between both towns – though some feel this may erase the smaller town’s identity.

Architecture: Due to the variety of tradesworkers and craftspeople that live part time in Perennahill, its architecture is a varied hodge-podge of different styles and studies. It is undeniably quaint, though not as rural as Winhill to the southeast.

Industry: Workers from all over Galbadia come to Perennahill in the spring and summer to learn from master craftspeople, work, and build. The goods produced here are exported all over Galbadia. There is a lot of national pride in Perennahill craftsmanship.

History: When Galbadia was formed from the ashes of the Holy Dollet Empire, Perennahill was one of its first territorial gains. Even before the fall of the Empire, the resources of the land and the skilled workers it produced were highly sought after. The Dukedom of Dollet tried to purchase back the land, but was met with firm opposition from Galbadia.

Trivia: 

• Perennahill is famous for the world’s largest Kupo Nut, which is on display in the town hall in a protective glass casing. It measures 32cm in diameter, and it’s distinctive spicy scent can be smelled from outside its casing.
