Government: Military Dictatorship (Officially Republic)
Affiliation: President Vinzer Deling
Demonym: Galbadian
Population: 43,000,000
Geography: The Galbadian continent is home to plains, forests, small mountains and desert regions to the south. The climate is mostly temperate, and most people of the world find the environment comfortable.
Culture: Galbadia has been a nation obsessed with its military might since its founding. It is also considered by outsiders to be obsessed with self expression. Its capital of Deling City has a large population of middle class and wealthy Galbadian elite, belonging to families of senators, aristocracy and generals from the G-Military. The standard philosophy of social hierarchy is to reach higher stations by any means possible and amassing material wealth. its bustling towns and its capitalist lifestyle. Galbadian politics are often opaque, and use many titles, ranks and terminology adopted from The Holy Dollet Empire. Those with older ranks of peerage will also hold an equivalent rank in the Galbadian military hierarchy.
Architecture: Galbadian structures generally serve function over form, but will include ornamental carvings, statues and filigree so long as it does not compromise Galbadian philosophy. Showing status, wealth, strength and lineage is very important to Galbadians in both art and architecture.
Industry: Galbadian settlements produce all of the country’s needs as well as some exports.
History: After the Great Divide of the relatively short lived Holy Dollet Empire, the nation of Galbadia was the first to create a dedicated defense force. They understood that with the drawing of territories came the responsibility of national defense, and that any nation (primarily Dollet) may seek to assimilate them. Fundamentally disagreeing with the constitutional monarchy of fractured Dollet, Galbadia aggressively began to capture territory. After some skirmishes, the 60-Days War was fought between Dollet and Galbadia. Galbadia now controls many territories that once belonged under the flag of Dollet.
Military: See Galbadian Armed Forces.
